Ronnie Owings

Ronnie Owings became a professional photographer almost overnight, when the family of then-Senator Robert Kennedy hired the young Ronnie to photograph family functions. Later moves into the worlds of high fashion, travel, and interiors helped him refine both his natural talent and his technical expertise. Now he is in demand to speak to other photographers, and Pro Studio is widely recognized for its creative family photography.

Ronnie's pictures have appeared in numerous national magazines, including Better Homes and Gardens, Arts and Antiques, Country Inns, and Elegant Bride, and in such books as Terrell Publishing's Amish Cookbook. A number of his award-winning images have been displayed overseas by the Professional Photographers of America, which has honored him with the permanent title of Master Photographer. Disney's Epcot Center in Florida also has had several exhibitions of his children's portraits.

Many of the creative approaches at Pro Studio are drawn from his studies for his degree in child and family development—like photographing children with their own favorite toys or having a young one relax in dad's lap when the whole family is gathered in the garden. But area clients would put it another way: They always feel the welcoming spirit of the Garden Cottage and of the talented, caring professional who gives them portraits they love
