Children love to come to PRO Studio for an Easter portrait. With bunnies and lambs to cuddle, wicker swings and flowery paths to sit on, and all manner of watering cans and garden tools, books and baskets to catch their interest, it’s almost like a game of dress-up—in their own new finery. These captivating portraits create an instant sense of Spring . . . and will forever remind you of a child’s joy at Easter. Mark your calendar for March 15 through 25.

From Hans Christian Andersen’s original fairy tale to the recent film version, children have always loved the story of “The Little Mermaid.” Now your child can feel a part of that favorite magical come to life. Our enchanting costume was made with 300 individually sewn scales and the background scenery directly inspired by the movie. Everyone will have to smile at portraits so full of a child’s joy—and your child may immediately want to claim one for a place of honor over her own bed. Available for selected dates in May.

We create the beach, and the children are fascinated. Mounds of sand are brought into the studio for an authentic ocean-side look, along with sand pails and shovels, small lifeguard stands and beach chairs, and other sea-worthy toys. The youngsters usually jump right in, and their joyful play gives you delightfully light-hearted portraits that just may make you think of the familiar Coppertone ads.

Even in this era of computer games, little boys still love tales of the Old West. And your young wranglers will readily agree to sit for a portrait when they can dress like cowboys. We’ve imported the props from the ranch—an antique horse, round-up hats, playful six-shooters—so all you have to do is put your boy in denims and boots, then find a place in his room to hang what’s sure to be his own “favorite picture.”

Trying a bit of nail polish, wearing Mom’s jewelry, clomping around in Mom’s party heels . . . Nothing can be more charming than a little girl playing dress-up. We help the make-believe come to life with a curliqued antique dresser, flowery backdrops, and a chest full of feathery boas, shiny pearls, and heirloom hats, and the portraits always have the feeling of capturing a child in a private, natural moment. Our dress up corner in the artic is set up anytime, however, a free session fee is available our one day promotion in July.

Santa Claus is coming to town, and he’s stopping at PRO Studio first.

Watch your children’s eyes light up as they walk into Santa’s merry living room. Each session includes 20 minutes with the jolly old fellow . . . feeding him cookies, going over wish lists, telling him if they really have been naughty or nice—and perhaps a few other secrets. Forget those lines at the mall. You’ll have these classic Rockwell scenes in plenty of time for Christmas cards or to have portraits for Grandmother. Mark your calendar for the first week in October.

Re-enacting a Live Nativity Scene – with Your Child as Mary, Joseph, or a Shepherd.

Our Nativity Scenes have become favorites for Christmas cards . . . beautiful, unusual, reflecting the true meaning of the season, yet a personal expression of how your children may have grown during the past year. We work carefully with you and your child (or children) to select just the right setting and costume for your chosen scene, although we have retired the live donkey we used in years past. Since these photo make such popular Christmas card, we run the special the second week in October.
